The Subnational Climate Solutions Bank is a platform that highlights the leadership of state governments in the national and international climate agenda. Embedded in the COP30 Action Agenda, the Bank reflects the spirit of the global mobilization for climate action, calling all of society to act now, collectively, turning commitments into real results.
Developed by CIPÓ Platform, the Institute for Climate and Society (iCS) and the Center Brazil in Climate (CBC), the Bank goes beyond bringing state good practices together by promoting knowledge exchange and shared learning, connecting experiences that build a sustainable, resilient and low-carbon future.
Thematic axes
The solutions are organized around the six thematic axes proposed in the COP30 Action Agenda: 1. Energy, Industry and Transport; 2. Forests, Oceans and Biodiversity; 3. Agriculture and Food Systems; 4. Cities, Infrastructure and Water; 5. Human and Social Development; and 6. Enablers and Accelerators.

Solutions Repository
The Solutions Repository is a dynamic repository created under the coordination of the COP30 Presidency to collect and disseminate concrete, existing and replicable climate initiatives aligned with the conference Action Agenda. The platform brings together initiatives from different sectors (governments, companies, civil society and local communities) with proven impact and scaling potential, prioritizing criteria such as clarity of information, thematic relevance, measurability of results and potential for expansion.

With more than 200 pages, the Yearbook offers a detailed picture of climate change at the subnational level and brings together, in one place, information that had been scattered across different sources and databases. The State Yearbook on Climate Change is produced by the Institute for Climate and Society and Center Brazil in Climate, with support from Instituto Itaúsa.
